ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Place:
Zood Zood is one of Chiang Mai’s local favourite restaurant.
This is my ‘go-to’ place whenever I feel like comfort food. They serves fast and unbelievably inexpensive meals— quick fix for all budget-lovers out there.
Food:
Serves all types of Thai food for less.
You have to try their specialty which is the grilled pork spicy noodles (dry), it comes with soup on a separate container. It has a really interesting flavour with a kick of spice. My advice, if you don’t want it too spicy then don’t mix your noodles with the sauce (bottom part of the noodles). It’s not a typical Thai noodle dish. I can’t even think of an ingredient added on the dish, it’s a mystery bowl. One of those mouthwatering herby dish that is unique to northern part of Thailand. You can also get the sausage toppings, which is a local delicacy.
You can get the sausage delivered by Kinlum Kindee. They sell local delicacies from pork clacking to spicy sausage. You can check out their website here: http://kinlumkindee.com/ or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KinlumKindee/?fref=ts
Price: Average cost for two is about 150-200 THB. My favourite, grilled pork spicy noodles only cost 69 THB.
Staff: The team are all great and friendly but speak minimal English.
